Young Money Minds Financial Literacy Workshop Series
Spring 2026

Overview
Financial literacy gives kids the skills they need to make smart choices about money—now and in the future. Today’s world is filled with online shopping, digital payments, and big financial decisions even at a young age, from managing allowances to understanding the value of saving. Teaching students how money works helps them build confidence, develop responsible habits early, and avoid common financial mistakes later in life. By learning to budget, save, set goals, and think critically about spending, 4th–8th graders gain real-world skills that prepare them for independence and long-term success.
