Learn step-by-step how to go from mind to design to a physical 3D print! Get your hands dirty in Fusion 360, the cutting edge CAD (computer-aided design) software used by engineers around the world in industrial settings.

Timeline and Curriculum: 

The workshops will take place ___ times a week every ___day and __ time via Google Meet.

• Week 1 -  Dabbling with Tinkercad

• Week 2 - Intro to Fusion 360

• Week 3 - Creating 2D Sketches in Fusion 360

• Week 4 - The 3D Create Menu in Fusion 360

• Week 5 - The Modify Menu in Fusion 360

• Week 6 - The Inspect Menu, The Render Workspace, The Animation Workspace, and the Form Workspace

• Week 7 - Introduction to the Student Design Contest

Milestone Projects:

Throughout our workshop series, students will work on several Milestone Projects to demonstrate their new skills. We will 3D print these designs and mail them to you. Although these projects are designed to direct students towards specific objectives, students are encouraged to use their creativity to think outside the box. they are given. Our workshop series instructors are highly qualified members of the non-profit, hand-picked from leadership of Student Makers non-profit. They have spent hours on building curriculum and other tools as well as organization to fulfill their passion of spreading STEAM to fellow students around the country.
